Hey, I am new to this website and I really am unsure as to how it works and what not, but let me tell you a little about myself. I love blogging, and I love sports and music, so here I will discuss mainly the two. I plan to blog daily so check back often to see what’s going on!
The Super Bowl is this Sunday, and a non-sports fan would be able to tell by all the beverages and chips being purchased at a local grocer, but what makes this Super Bowl so special? Is it special at all? Who will win? All these questions may seem enigmatic, but in reality, the answer is simple. Its the Super Bowl!
The Super Bowl is always special, sometimes more so than others, sometimes less so. Jerry Jones has done a terrific job renovating a whole new stadium, and for the players to look up and see a life like image of them on a bigger than big screen, that can really kicks the adrenalin up an extra notch! Every thing seems to be bigger in Texas, we will see if the Super Bowl lives up to that popular saying.
What I find most interesting in this game is the quarterback match-up. Rodgers, Favre’s understudy, versus Ben Roethlisberger. Ever since Rodgers came back from his second concussion of the season, his offense has been red hot, even the rushing game in part! The Steelers D’ is said to be steel tough, but in all honesty, I believe the Bears’ defense was even tougher! Rodgers passed all over the Bears two weeks ago, so what is to say he isn’t going to do it again?
Roethlisberger may be considered as under rated, even though he’s been the victor in a couple Super Bowls, but I think the reason the Steelers are where they are at is because of the run game. If Mendenhall can have a one hundred yard game against Matthews and the Packers, the Steelers may just win this game.
Due to the fact that both these defenses are state of the art, its tough to choose a definite winner. The purpose of this blog was to inform and predict though, so I guess I’ll go Packers 31 Steelers 20.
