Four Things About Sports 2/6

I’ve done this every day since I started blogging on here, I recap four things that happened in the sports world recently, and sometimes make predictions! Feel free to comment, in this shortened Super Bowl Sunday edition. Four Three things about sports today.

  1. Cavaliers break records! Even without Lebron! Fooled you. The Cavaliers recently lost their 24th in a row, an NBA record. In all respect though, they have played through this season with numerous injuries, including a major one to point guard Mo Williams. Best of luck to the Cavs though, they’re going to need it… BIG TIME!
  2. Baylor uses OT to upset the Aggies. Last night, Baylor made the bus trip to play at Texas A&M, where the Perry Jones and the Bears took five extra minutes to bring in a two point win. Coach Scott Drew was very pleased with the upset of the Aggies, “Early in the year, in crunch time, we would lose,” Drew said. “I think we’re getting better in operating in crunch time. I just really liked the fight our guys had today.” If they keep it up, they may go to a second straight Elite Eight!
  3. Super Bowl Sunday Predictions. I predict that the best commercial is the Lipton one that is rumored to feature rap star Eminem. My eyes are yet to see it, but Eminem always produces. Just kidding. Well, he does produce, but that is not my prediction! I predict that the Packers take home the Lombardi trophy, to its rightful spot in Green Bay, albeit this game could go either way!
